Reform The Media

Under eight years of Obama (and, in fact, several more before that) the first amendment has become a shield for those who want to control our society to hide behind. The image makers, the flag-burners, the media talking heads, and the cable news shows all make a living selling us a reality we know in our hearts does not exist. A Pence-Ryan administration will:

• Place commonsense restrictions on the first amendment in the same way liberals have sought to muzzle the 2nd. This will prevent the spreading of ideological lies
• Lying on the internet will be curtailed. Citizens, especially senior citizens, will be able to have a degree of confidence in the news they read on their computers
• All forms of 'speech' which are not actually speech will be subject to regulations by a decency board (this includes flag-burning, liberal protests, and potentially pornography although we're honestly not going to touch that)
• Cable news will be overseen by a watchdog agency to look for bias in their programming.
